The March Break Music Workshop Series presented by Lazare Music Academy is a week-long, collaborative music education space for students aged 8-18. The lessons presented in the workshops will explore topics such as songwriting & lyric writing, ear training, rhythmic development, harmony, critical listening, improvisation and more.
The series will be led by Phöenix Lazare, Atom Lazare, Christopher Lazare and Justin Kelley, all experienced and educated musicians with defined expertise. Phöenix, Atom and Justin each studied different facets of professional music at Berklee College of Music in Boston. Students have the option to attend the entire 5-day series, or select specific days to participate. Daily instruction will be separated into two 2-hour blocks: 10:30am-12:30pm and 1-3pm, with a 30-minute break in between. We will be focusing on collaborative work, as well as on students’ individual interests and growth. Visit www.lazaremusicinc.com/workshops to register for the March Break Music Workshop Series!
